Diary of a Chubby Girl

It was just like another day and thoughts overtook all the good things in a second.

Someone told her, you are so chubby and cute. She took it as a compliment and thought that yes she is good. This was only applicable till you are a little girl but when you are an adult, it actually means, you are fat and need to lose weight.

I don't know why people don't understand that being a girl, she wants to look best. And it's not her choice to be fat or zero figure, she has got life just like you and it's how her body reacts to things and she cannot change it.

People do pass comments in a just kidding mode, but they do hurt her. She simply passes a smile in order to keep the mood of people around light but it is possible that your words would have hurt her to the core and a tear just stopped in her eyelid because she didn't let it come out.

She is surely aware of all the circumstances that she can face because of obesity and over-weight, but that doesn't mean she can't see a dream like other girls or she cannot fulfil her wishes.

After reading all this, most of you will say, we don't judge people on their size or looks, but this is a sad reality that if a chubby girl has a crush, she cannot express fearing a no because of her size. It's not that she is conscious of her size or feels inferior but it's how people around her make her feel. This is just one of the common example but we can surely see more around us.

If the size or looks would have such importance, Saroj Khan would have never been a choreographer. Sometimes your exercises and workouts and diets cannot do it and you just need to accept it the way it is.

So to all the chubby girls out there, never feel bad about yourself, be confident and keep moving forward to achieve your aims of success.

Keep smiling and believe in yourself 😊
